Being To Tired to do Nightly Rituals (Day 3 of 366)
Hail and Merry Meet!
When I started down this path I decided that one of the things that I would do is do a ritual twice a day. It was just lighting incense and giving a prayer of thanks. Mostly to the ancestors and the house spirits, but also to the gods. When I got home last night I was so dead tired that the only thing that I could do was eat and then go to bed. I really hated not doing what I said I was going to do, but I was just so tired. However, I'm hoping that tonight, when I get home, that I'll be able to do it.
I want to make this a habit that I start doing. But, we'll see.

Why I Chose this Path (Day 2 of 366 Days)
Hail and Merry Meet!
Today is day two of my 366 days of learning this path. I decided to use this day to talk about why I chose this path. One of the huge reasons is that I just love the Norse gods. This has nothing to do with blood, but what draws me. I've been Wiccan for 26 years, and I'm proud of that. However, I wanted to be apart of something much larger than myself. To practice something that meant something to me. I follow gods like Odin, Thor, Frigga, Freya, Frey, Loki, Hela, and so many others.
Right now we are between Samhain and Yule, which I do fully intend to do a ritual for. We will be between the harvest and the beginning of Spring. Yesterday, when I started down this path, I used my travel altar to do my ritual. I burned incense, a black candle, and did a reading. I'm going to also get back into doing meditation. I chose this path because it speaks to me. Because it connects me to the past and helps me to better understand my present and my future.
That's the reason that I chose this path.

The Start of my Journey (Day 1 of my 366 Days)
Hail and Merry Meet!
Today I decided to start my path as a Norse Wiccan. The purpose of this blog is to cover the full year, and a day, that I go through my journey with the gods of the Norse. I've tried several times to start down this road, but things have happened. During the course of this blog I will be talking about my feelings, the rituals that I do, and so much more. Each day will be covered and I will not miss a single day of posting.
I think that blogs that are run by Norse Wiccans are important. With all the hate that some people that follow Heathenism are putting out there, this is important. So I'm hoping that this blog will help those out that need it. My year and a day will end, since I started it yesterday, on 15th of November of next year. I look forward to looking back at my progress and see where I am. I look forward to sharing it with all of you.
